Salman Khan Residence Firing Case: Arrested Accused Joined Lawrence Bishnoi’s Gang After Following Social Media Handle Run By Gangster
Bollywood actor and filmmaker Salman Khan’s fans were left worried after a shooting incident occurred at his Bandra residence in April 2024. The incident is currently under investigation with six accused arrested in the matter. One of them, Haripal Hardeep Singh aka Hari recently opened up about his connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and stated that he has been a part of the gang for the last four years. He revealed that he had been in touch with Lawrence’s brother Anmol in Canada and Rohit Godhara.

He had reportedly contacted them after joining an Instagram group named “sopuprajasthangolden09.” As per a report by the Free Press Journal, the group had 378 followers and 148 photos, including photos of the Bishnoi gang members. Hari has his own Instagram handle with the name “harry_rai_sopu_haryana”. The handle has 431 followers and 260 posts. One of his posts includes a video recording of him and another arrested accused of the case Rafiq Mohammad aka Golden.

Quoted by the media publication, in the video they are heard saying in Hindi, “If someone kills our one, we have the power to hit back and kill ten; whether we kill today or tomorrow, time is very powerful, it will come.”


According to the chargesheet in the case, Hari has made reels of his video calls, including one with 10 people from the gang which also features Lawrence. The chargesheet also reveals that there are many profiles on Instagram with the title “Sopu Group 29” (Student Organisation of Punjab University). These profiles are reportedly run by Lawrence Bishnoi. So far the Mumbai Crime Branch has reportedly arrested six people in the case, including Vickykumar Gupta, Sagarkumar Pal, Sonukumar Bishnoi, Anujkumar Thapan, Mohd Rafiq Choudhary and Harpal Singh. It was earlier reported that one of the accused Thapan had died allegedly by suicide while in police custody. The Mumbai police filed a 1,735-page chargesheet before the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against the remaining five, earlier in the month. The court recently stated that there was “significant material” against the six arrested accused. On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick Sikander alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
